The Littlest Poetry Contest Words: 136 Lines: 38 Kitty Cat By Lisa Noe There once was a kitty cat His paws went pitty pat He was as sweet as he could be Even though he had a flea Oh that kitty cat He was all of that He’d chase the mouse All over the house Under the bed He bumped his head And the mouse Called to his spouse And said that cat’s crazy And a little bit lazy So let’s get away while we can But they turned on the fan It blew the poor kitty away Where he got in his bed to stay Then here came master What a disaster It’s bath time for kitty Time to flee Master grabbed the cat And in the tub he sat Mad as all get out could be! Water went splashing Master was wet And kitty paid his debt. |
