Niagara Falls

Majestic flow, bounding forth
Constant and timeless, pulsing ride
Air fills with misted vapor

Watch sheer power surge forward
Unstoppable in all grandeur
Unshakable in all force

A fragile leaf falls into
Turbulent waters and drowns quick
Pulled within the crashing surge.

Bubbles form and froth, a veil
Appears and thunders over edge
Falling blindly, wildly... free.

Dare you dip your finger in?
Would the energy pull at you?
Or just simply smile and laugh.
