A Monchielle poem for Whispers of the Soul contest |
| Fall Is A Time Of Change Fall is a time of change Farewell to summer's green More subtle brown and red Will take the leaves to ground For Winter's snowy bed Fall is a time of change Sweet strawberries now gone While apples crisp and tart Delight both eye and tongue And stuff full Autumn's cart Fall is a time of change From verdant growing life All Hallows Eve has led When harvest time is done To thoughts about the dead Fall is a time of change In every man-child's life Young strength must soon give way When lessons gleaned from life And wisdom will hold sway |
