Sick and Tired!

I'm as fit as a fiddle
with three snapped strings:
No Stradivarius, I
as thermometer pings!

Weak as a kitten
splayed on the couch,
not playful, not I,
in fact I'm a grouch!

I'm cross and I'm cranky,
my muscles all ache,
feel as old as the hills
asleep or awake!

Medicinal mercy
leaves me in a fog.
Under the weather?
I'm as sick as a dog!
