A shattered throne, a broken game
With swords held in a line
Allegiance formed with hearts in chains
And winter's threat in time
A dragon’s chorus calls for dawn
For flames to cleanse the land
A heart consumed and wrath is born
Amidst the blood and sand
As dragons dance with walkers white
Antagonists so stark
Watchers cry from walls at night
With wolves so dire, dark
In storms of swords Kings clash alone
Amidst a feast for crows
Who will live to take the throne
Of this, nobody knows
Maps and Legends
Here there be dragons
We’ve lost along the way
With mead consumed from flagons
And corpses in the fray
With pens as blunt as broadswords
Quills deadly as an axe
With parchment stark, can pride afford,
the prejudice ink lacks?
A poisoned well, for passed down heirs
A throne to which aspire
A cursed diseased begotten chair
Discordantly desired
A chalice grasped, on vellum named
The maps and legends show
Here there be dragon’s games
Step cautious as you go
