noisy, unguided, and dangerous.

I don't know why

cock-a-doodle-dooing irritant,
it certainly wasn't to raise chickens
because he didn't purchase any hens.

Every morning
at precisely 1 AM
that Rhode Island red
proclaims his loneliness
to the world.

If MacDonald
doesn't do something
about the noise pollution
that rooster causes,
I'm wringing his neck
and serving him at the next
neighborhood potluck
with apple dumplings.
