Life can disappoint if one limits oneself to the expectations of others.

Unfulfilled

She wanted fame
To be a celebrity
Recognition
From family and friends
She should have looked
About engagement
From within
What do I know
I’m just like her
I panicked too
Juggling lovers
Searching for the true one
We should never be limited
By what others delineate
Hungry for acceptance
We are committed
To a life of aching
