I wish I could take back
All the love I gave
Should have known it’d turn black

Silently awaiting the attack
Driven into the frosty grave
Should have known it’d turn black

Of your horror, I lost track
All the times I chose to cave
I wish I could take back

Never cut me any slack
True I was once your slave

How I wish I’d found a crack
New-found ways to behave
