Modern Pentathlon Acrostic

An acrostic about the Summer Olympic event, the Modern Pentathlon

                                        Five events create the Modern pentathlon
                                                                      The Order of them is as follows
Epee fencing, 200 meter freestyle swimming, anD show jumping on an unfamiliar horse
                                                            Then the nExt day, they will do
                          Pistol shooting and 3.2 km countRy run in
                                    Four rounds of shooting aNd 800 meter runs

      Thirty-six men and thirty-six women will comPete
                                            They’re from twenty-Eight countries
                                            They will compete oN August 19 and 20
                                  There will be a change in The fencing round this year
                                            With a bonus round Added
                                                                    After The round-robin fencing
                                                    But the rest of tHe competition remains unchanged
                                      The first three events wilL convert to points
                                                      Which will becOme a time handicap on the second day
                          The final winners will be based oN who crosses the finish line first on the second day
