I have a mind and I want to try writing poems ..ah..poetry.

How to write a poem?
I wish I already knew,
Eager to learn this beautiful art
Which I read in every class as I grew,

Searching for a magic point
Though it would never come,
The way to become good at writing poems
Is to practice, write and have fun.

Always thinking how the great writers wrote
But still not figuring out anything.
Sometimes I feel like giving up
Other times, with poetry my heart sings.

For me writing is a required time pass
To enjoy in this uncertain world.
Maybe I want to make rhymes,
To look for something I haven’t been told.

How to write a poem?
A skill for me which is still foreign.
Hopeful to get proficient in it,
For now, still a green bean I am.
