Duplicity

In the darkness of his presence,
thunder and lightning
Deep in the breath of his essence
render and heightening my senses,
to his presence


The oppressed in their deception,
terror and revenge
Arrogance to a perfection
offer and pretend direction,
to their deception


Last sight the ends of the earth,
hidden and trembling
Not life we defend or deserve
dead and resembling our birth,
and of the earth
