A prayer for guidance

Spirit of Wisdom

Spirit of Wisdom I pray
Guide me well this day
Show me the path to go
Teaching me new ways to grow.

Spirit of Wisdom I ask
Brighten the sun under which I bask
Lead me on to true love
Spreading my wings as a dove.

Spirit of Wisdom I yearn
Creative ways in which to learn
Quench my thirst for knowledge
Bringing me to Adventure’s edge.

Spirit of Wisdom I pray
Guide me soundly this day
Lead me out of temptation
Into a dream’s fruition.
