All month long we have been
Poked and prodded
Challenged
Sometimes beyond understanding
And I think Ren and Fyn
Get a real charge out of
Messing with our minds.

Simple, yet complex
Sweet, yet tyrannical
Fair, but strict
Planning out a maze for us to follow
To lose ourselves in
Challenging us to stretch
When all I really want to do
Is let the winter blahs
Envelop me and take me under,
But their persistent poking
Keeps at me
And I move
Find myself
Googling information
And trying to tie
Words and images together
In ways
That sometimes work
And sometimes....
Not so much.
Some days I have to dig deep
And some days...
The words meet me where I am
Crafting a piece that leaves me
Feeling astonished
At what appeared
Before me.
It is like they know...
Pushing the envelop
Is sometimes required
Sometimes you just gotta
Show up and see what flies
And hope it soars
If it doesn't
There is always tomorrow
