Ceasefire Tableau in Syria

Just penning my frustration

Syrian Ceasefire Tableau

A child's tear streaked face
peeks from behind wall
wide eyed in terror.
Somber searchers comb
ruins for survivors
of last night's airstrike.

Stepping over bricks
rescuers pick through
rubble and debris.
Body found face down,
her blood soaked hijab
flutters in the breeze.
