A love poem

We will always burn in one anothers heart

As we lay here together
I sometimes freeze up all inside
Not wanting all my feelings to come out
For it would be a sin to let them
Not wanting to admit to myself the truth
The truth is I love you
Feeling guilty as I have all these thoughts running through my head
As I close my eyes and dream
Where we survive as one
As the candle wax drips down the base
As the tears roll down my face in thoughts of you
Like the fresh fallen dew that has fallen to the ground makes a blanket over earth
I have fallen for you
But, you have become my blanket
Making me feel safe from all harm
Wiped away all my fears
Lock the door and leave our troubles behind
I don't know the reason why we were brought here together
And maybe I don't want to know
As the wax of the candle drowns itself
And the light fades away
We will always burn in one anothers heart
And that is something that no one can ever take away from us
