A short poem about the oceans, the world’s true final frontier. |
| Oceans by Jack Magnificent In between the continents, Great chasms of great beauty, Swaying there to beckon us To live life dangerously. Unchanging, unforgiving, The depths I cannot see. But dying or living Can happen on the sea. Some have even sailed across, And some come back again, Fortunes made and fortunes lost, And let me tell you when. We’ve scratched the surface you and I, The depths that keep in motion, To work and sing and fantasize Out here upon the ocean. |
