Poetry- Misery

We must learn to keep our pain and negativity to ourselves at some point.

Oh how they attack you,
When you are the most susceptible to it
Assuming you can handle any pain
They aren't afraid to launch theirs towards you.
Oh how mercilessly they attack you,
With loads of negative energy
Burning you up all over again,
When you are working day and night
To extinguish the fire of longing within you.
