Make it stop

My thoughts,
I can’t escape,
It’s never ending,
The infinite stream,
Of consciousness,
Overflowing.

Make it stop
The treadmill of life
Is only getting faster
And faster, and faster.

I pressed stop,
I pressed the button
It’s supposed to stop,
It’s supposed to end,
But it only gets worse
And worse,
and worse...
