NaNoWriMo Prep Day 7

Plot Beginning

The Story begins with Mordecai and his twin brother Dietrich traveling to the great Port City of (Place Holder) to seek a Scribe who may have the answer for the visions that Dietrich has had. Mordecai is struggling with controlling and understanding the power he wields. It appears as Magic is declining in the realm, he is increasing. He also does not realize that in addition to the visions that Deitrich is having, he is also wielding increasingly great power in the spiritual magics as well as Air and Water Magic.

It will be essential to show the gradual separation that begins to occur between the two. This will eventually climax into a confrontation that will become a legend in the Port City of (Place Holder)

Mordecai is fearful of what his brother is becoming and begins to realize that he may be the only one who can stop his brother from becoming what Mordecai fears is the ender of the world.

Mordecai becomes a Fire Mage while Dietrich is Seduced by (Place Holder) and becomes a Necromancer.

While it is possible that there will be a final confrontation between the two (In the Chronicles of the Outlander), it will be in the future after the climactic confrontation they have in this story.

This story and the events in it form what each brother will eventually become and the decisions they make here will place them on diverging paths that will eventually result in a confrontation that both cannot survive.
