It’s a spherical world,
a bubble with a bubble on top,
and I, a snowball tier of three,
what goes around is round in here,
spheres within spheres,
globe within globe.
In the circle of my circular life
(snow to ice and ice to melt)
my circle of friends around me gather,
the nameless boy, attentive doe
and crimson-robed, the cardinal.
Surround me now and let me be
your shelter holding fast and true
through stormy swirl and snowy blur,
your snowman sure and steady holds,
defender in a dubious world.
Oh yes, for you it’s Christmas,
jingle bells and mistletoe,
turkey dinner, presents too.
And snowglobes entertain it’s true
with scenes of winter fun and cheer,
but remember as you shake the globe
the storm you make for those inside,
our tiny world in blizzard blind.
