Who would you lie to?

We must have encountered this uncomfortable situation few times in our lives where you had to choose between your loved ones, right? So, one morning I had listened to the radio with this topic discussed. Being single made me think “of course I’d lie to my partner, why would I lie to the people who spent their whole life keeping me alive?”

But then after hearing others’ opinion, I realized if I somehow able to get married with a wonderful man, who treats me accordingly, I myself also could not lie to him for my own benefits. Until now, I could not choose which parties I prefer to lie to.

Then I wondered myself, can we find other solution that does not involve hurting anyone? Can we have like a family meeting with every one of the family, and everybody can pitch in their idea of solution. Gosh, even imagining it I know it is not an easy task because everyone has their own personalities and has their own opinion. In addition, being a normal human being, we always want to be right, right?

So, please share with me, how do you resolve this kind of problem? I’m still single; hence I still do not know the pressure of choosing either your family or your partner in a certain circumstances. I would love to read everyone’s experience/opinion on this ^_^
