Journey Through The Genres entry - Romantic Poetry

To you, I turn,
My soft place to fall.
Held within your strong embrace.
I know I will be able to go on,
Make my way in the world,
Face the challenges
That try to rage out of control
And knock me off my game.
You are my rock.
The place I return to.
The place that fortifies me .
Your heart is bound to mine ;
We are one;
Together we rise above
And our love endures
Burning bright
In a world prone to darkness.
