Noah Syndergaard tore his UCL recently |
| New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard recently tore his UCL and is expected to undergo Tommy John surgery. The righthander will also miss the 2020 season and not be ready to pitch until April 2021. This is a huge blow to the Mets, who have expected the 27 year old to rebound after a disappointing 2019. He had an ERA of 4.29 in 2019, a setback but not exactly a huge deal as teammate and 2019 CY Young winner Jacob DeGrom held down the pitching staff. |
