A poem that brings a lot of emotions at once

You broke my heart,
And now I'm devastated,
Weeks I've been weeping in silent,
And all because, someone
Had to prove a point.

Everything because of a virus,
Causing havoc and fear,
I was never afraid, I was true to myself,
In obedience I served, and bended knees

Lied to and misleaded by many,
Even been accused that I'm in denial.

The pain echoes in my heart,
My soul still longs for you,
I'm still yearning after you,
But I need to go on,

I'm keeping the faith
I'm praying for forgiveness
I've done all I could,

The time has come,
I will find peace,
I'm still on my knees...
