For the Love of parents

They love and respect us.
Cajole and deny us.
Clean and clothe us.

And, they will always be there.

They teach us and guide us.
Cause us to remember and forget.
Teach us the difference between right and wrong.

And, they will always be there.

When they are not there.
When they are not here.
We know and remember that they will always be there.
