Sometimes Jesus leads us to the frontlines of life to experience another's darkness
Yoked Above the Flames
By ~Kenword~

At the Altar in my Soul
Where, in prayer, I kneel
I pity the lost world
Lifeless graves appallingly real
One word of hope in a
Million does not repeal
Life's harsh bands of
Molten steel

Jesus' arms lift me above
An ember laden road
Blue flames burnish His body
Still He eases my load
Prevailing Peace did master
Life's heart-break-code
Son of David had mercy to forebear
The debt mankind owed

Champions of the godless profane
The Lamb upon the throne
But yoked with Jesus, this I know
His blood in a cup will still atone
For the darkest sin stains
Man thinks unknown
Its for the deadest of dead God's
Mercy is shone!
