Prelude:

One afternoon, I am sitting in a café in Toronto, having a coffee-drink and a muffin. I am taking my time and watching people entering the café or leaving or just passing by. My eyes focus on a couple and seemingly there is nothing special about them. Yet there is something that catches my attention about the two of them, as if they are sharing a special secret they don't want anyone to know.
