Uncertainty of status in a relationship
Labels are hard
Are we friends
Are we closer
Are we less
Or are we more
than before
I can't tell
You seem so far
Then out of the blue
You are buying gifts
That reminded you
Of me and even talking
Of plans for the future
Just like we did
Before this happened
Are we back to normal?
I wish you could tell me
As I am getting dizzy
Going back and forth
Not knowing
If we are friends or not
Unlabeled, unknowing
