Exorcising Demons

Word Challenge

I am trying my best to eke out just a minute bit of sleep from this simply dreadful day. Paranoia kept shadowing me during the hours, its elaborate scheme to separate me from any tranquility I so desperately need.

So I am in an adagio waltz with an Ophiophagus-like creature. This odyssey will be epic, will take most of the night. But I am intrepid. I perceive my manifest destiny. It will be one of overcoming this paranoia. I will exorcise my demons, expel them to the outer limits of the universe.
