The Big Fix

"Good evening, and welcome to (drum roll) The Big Fix. (Loud music). Tonight we're with Jane and John. Hello."

"Hello, Toni." Jane smiles.

John nods and gives a small wave.

"Well, Jane, what is wrong with your house?"

"Everything!"

"Don't worry, The Big Fix team will get everything sorted out. Now, if I can have your keys."

The team arrive at a derelict house which does indeed have everything wrong with it. "I don't know why we needed keys." The team leader kicks over a sheet of hardboard covering the doorway.

We watch as the team repairs the walls, the roof, the windows, then fits out and decorates the interior. Designer touches everywhere.

"Welcome back to (drum roll) The Big Fix. (Loud music). Jane and John, are you ready to see your new house?"

"Ooh yes." Jane smiles.

John just nods.

As Toni leads them to the new front door and proffers the keys John finally speaks. "That's our house over there."
