A got in a Funky mood swing

My lies
Most of the time I throw on a fake smile
I lie to myself and others around
I've lied to myself my entire life. Mixing the truth with lies is what I'm best at
My friends don't see my lies. Nor do my parents
I always lie
Lying keeps me safe
Yet when I'm with you I can't bring myself to do it
Why do I lie?
