One day that people usually give it their best effort.

It's April First,
And what do you know?
The day of tomfoolery
With clowning is on the go.

Steve put a rubber roach
In June's nice old lunch box.
Betty sewed the tops together
in Ethel's new pink socks.

There is no end to craziness
on this annoying day.
But when April second comes around,
The jokes are put away.
