Taxes are due usually on the 15th of April but this year it is the 18th. Are you done yet?

Taxes are no fun to do
You must get the forms and read them through
There are a thousand pages in a "How to Do" book
And you must do it all right or the IRS will call you a crook

Some companies have their forms online
But they must be filled out before the government's deadline
And they ask you some questions for answers you don't know
Some online help treats you like you are some kind of Bozo.

How do I remember when I bought this stock?
Can I deduct my shoes that are called Reebok?
Will the gifts to charity help me get more money back?
Can I keep the money won a secret, when I played blackjack?

I have so many things that I must report.
How about those visits to my folks in Newport?
If I am off by a penny, will I go to jail?
I really am afraid that my forms could be lost in the mail.

I need a friend to show me just one time
How to do these forms and then I hope my attitude will climb
Why can't I just pay my taxes on what I think I owe.
I'll do better next year and go to a certified tax pro.
