Earth day's surprise
Tornado
Shaped like a giant top
spinning so fast
that you see houses,
cows and trees flying
in the air.
Lightning shows us
where the storm is.
The storm comes and goes
where you never expect it to.
Forget Dorothy and the
Wizard of Oz.
She made it home.
Run, go hide in the safe room,
pray to live and pick up
the pieces and start again.
