The Exile of the Immortals In the year 2300, humanity had finally mastered the art of interstellar travel. Sam Wilson was a trillionaire who also had his own private space fleet. He was consumed with the idea of finding the secret of immortality After ten years of searching the intelligent civilizations in the Galaxy; he found at the far end of the galaxy a planet where one could obtain the secret of immortality, and he became immortal, along with ten of his closest associates who had joined him in his mad quest. They finally returned to earth but found because of navigational errors they had miscalculated their arrival time and arrived 100 years into the future and entered a changed world. They did not recognize the planet that had undergone so many changes since the introduction of interstellar travel 125 years before. Everyone he knew, all his oldest friends, his wife, and children were all long dead. The only people he knew were his ten crew members. They were all faced with the same situation. But more importantly than that, the earth was now under the control of the Khan, which were giant Nazi spiders who ruled the earth with vicious efficiency and did not tolerate any opposition. The Khan arrested and tortured them, and finally they had to admit the truth -that they were immortal beings who had gotten the secret in a planet far away. They did not know exactly where–the doctors who gave them immortality also wiped their memories and their ship’s logs as they were very careful to hide their location from outsiders. The Khan released them but exiled them from Earth and Khan controlled worlds as they did not immortals to reside among mortals. They eventually found themselves in an hidden earth colony, Refugees fleeing the Khan take over had set that up. They gradually took over the colony and became kings in their new world, vowing someday to liberate Earth from the evil Khan.
