A penny for my thoughts |
Just like the summer turns into fall, and winter turns into spring, time changes. Nothing stays the same. Seasons come and go. Year after year, through the process of time, the life we once knew is no more. People get older, they pass away, new people come in and out of your life. The cost of living goes up, and the way we live gets more advanced. And after a while, even memories begin to fade. Everyday, life becomes a little more uncertain. Tomorrow is never promised, and the only thing we can't get enough of, is time. So let go of the past, hope for the future, and just live for today. Take it one day at a time. Live for the moment, because that moment you had yesterday is never coming back. Have no regrets. Forgive and forget. Take nothing or no one for granted. And just love. Love God, love everyone, love life. Love in the good times and the bad times. Love with everything you have, with all of your heart. Love until you can't love no more. The world around us is changing. So live each day like it could be your last. But never give up hope for a brighter tomorrow. You only get one life to live, might as well make the best of the one you're given. And never fret on the things you can't change. Life is like a test, and unfortunately, there is no study guide. And no matter how much we study for it, we'll never have all the answers. Therefore, we'll never quite get it right, so stop trying to beat yourself up over something you have no control over. Because perfection is impossible to obtain, unless you're God. But we're only human, and we make mistakes. However, we can choose to learn from those mistakes, or we can continue to make them and face the consequences. Either way, it's our choice to make. And when you find yourself at a dead end, and you have the difficult decision on which path to take, follow your heart. Walk by faith and not by sight. Let God be your GPS, to help navigate you through this thing called life. Don't be afraid of those little detours blocking your way, because they might just be keeping you from heading in the wrong direction. Instead, you'll learn to appreciate the road blocks, because in the end, it's those same detours that will help keep you on the right path. |
