We promise to tell the truth
We promise to never lie
We promise to be faithful
And we promise to be true

Try as we might
We find that we can’t keep
Our promises we made

That is just how karma works
Promises made
Promises kept

What goes around
Comes around

In the end
The only promise we can make
Is to be true to our self
And that is a promise
That must be kept.
