Christmas

New takes on old songs - sometimes they actually work out well. Our family has always enjoyed the cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the original version of this song and when the kids were young, we would read the book every night of December until Christmas. Now, as the kids have gotten older, our musical interests have expanded some and we've found interesting metal versions of some songs. (There are metal covers of some Disney songs that are very cool and show the range of those bands beyond what some people might assume.) The thing I love about these covers is that they stay pretty true to what the song is supposed to sound like, just adding the talented vocals and impressive instrumental support.
