A series of Articles about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex |
Meg, the Darling of Sussex, the bride of Prince Harry or as she affectionately refers to him, “H,” is an incredible well-rounded, beautiful, passionate, articulate, and sincere person. Prince Harry first saw her in costume on Twitter and it appears that he enjoyed her playful personality and that she does not take herself too seriously. Perhaps Harry’s first “home”, Africa, and his work with the AIDS patients there attracted him and Meg to each other. Both are volunteer-oriented people who love to help people in need. Meg is “creole,” a lovely blend of black and white so there is also “roots in Africa” for her. She appears to have many deep friendships demonstrating sincere care and concern for her. She seems to be able to elicit a level of loyalty which is very rare. And it seems that Meg was a benefit to the Royal Family as she was immediately loved by the citizens and hailed by the crowds. Having lost the strength that she and Harry brought to the country may have weakened it and not strengthened it as some might have anticipated. Many believe that Meg is a survivor. She survived a broken home and her parent’s divorce; she survived the negative media onslaught; she survived the miscarriage; she survived postpartum depression and so forth. But, as Nightbirde, one of AGT’s contestants, said, “I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me.” And she sang her song, “I’m ok.” It is that same kind of inner strength that Meg does exhibit and one can say she is so much more than just a survivor! She constantly pushed forward to make a difference in the world for fairness, equality, and to recognize the humanity of every person. This is a person who wants to make the world better for everyone. The world needs Meg and her lovely family. And the world is waiting to see what the future holds for them. |
