Every morning
I wake up
Watching the news
Drinking my coffee
Contemplating reality

But after a while
The constant noise
the endless talking heads
the pundits lying

begins to get to me
giving me a case
of the blues

I turn off the noise box
The chattering chatbots
And silence the internet

Turning on some music
Drinking herbal tea
Enjoying the silence
Of the morning
Once more
