National Poetry month. The first poem is about April |
| A celebration has begun, upon this very day Pleased faces are seen, as a weather change is underway Recognition of clouds that might bring some relief Is an answer to a prayer, is each citizens' belief Listen to the sounds around you and cry tears of joy Spots of wetness on the cement show this is the real McCoy Hear the splatter on the ground as heavy drops fall Outside little puddles form a nice round ball Water breaks the dry spell and plants go from brown to green Each flower is renewed and new life in seeds is seen Rain was the answer from the early spring time of the year Showers of April bring May's beauty we will love to see here. |
