It's strange how friends come and go
Half the time you never know

Where they went or why they left
I guess sometimes, it's for the best

With each relation somethings learned
If you're careful, you won't get burned

For instance just from watching you
Do all the things you tend to do

I've learned your ego rules your mind
And makes you treat your friends unkind
