If you are going to love me
Love me now, while I can know
The sweet and tender feelings
Which from true affection flow.
Love me now while I am living
Do not wait until I am gone
And then have it chiseled in marble
Sweet words on ice-cold stone.
If you have tender thoughts of me
Please, tell me now.
If you wait until I am sleeping
And I won't hear you then.
So, if you love me, even a little bit
Let me know it while I am living
So I can treasure it.
This poem was a part of Naomi's Bottle Museum which operates for 12 years and we have to close it as we need to attend the needs of our grandchild in the city.
We stayed in the city for 8 years. We are back now at our Home Sweet Home less the Museum. I remember I got this typewritten work of art from inside one of the bottles and inserted it in my Holy Bible.
Now it fell as I open the Holy Bible for my daily reading. I decided to put this in my Portfolio
I really cannot remember who wrote it and it's not stated it here in this short piece of paper.
Good Morning Everyone.
