Beauty

Beauty knows nothing of mirrors,
she finds her value in others,
without regard for flattery or praise,
she looks with innocent eyes.

With faultless step she walks,
no harm does she intend,
a vision that enchants us all,
yet outward is her glance.

And so we wonder what it is,
this quality that holds us,
but in the end we have to say
we know it when we see it.
