Beliefs...

Some day we all will pass away
and be judged on our earthly stay.
A simple question is the test
to determine if we’re damned or blessed.

Obama enters with a smile.
“What belief do you hold most worthwhile?”
“That all are welcome, none reviled.”
Nodding, He says, “Enter child.”

Biden kneels in the grand hall.
“What do you believe most of all?”
“That all men are equal in your eyes.”
God smiles and says, “You may now rise.”

Now Trump appears before the throne.
“What do believe?” God does intone.
Trump answers with a haughty air:
“I believe you’re sitting in my chair!”

...and so was born the phrase, “rot in hell!”
