A university professor tells you about his research

Although this may feel like a dissertation, I intend it to be read as a story. But not one you are familiar with. Rather, I wish to both tell you about a person, and provide academic support for that person's place in his warrior culture.

Now I know what you are thinking: Why would you want to sit through a lecture?

I am a university professor, an expert in language (a philologist, specifically. I study language in literature). My entire career has focused on Anglo-Saxon literature. For the last three years, my focus has been on The Wanderer.
