Early in the morning you hear the Roosters crow and crow

In the distance the cows quietly begin to moo

Barking from the dogs chasing an invisible foe

The mist slowly starts to rise from the mountains the rivers too

A heavenly spring breeze can be felt now and then

Heard are the unique melodies of a singing bird

Jury Duty

Jury duty? No thank you. I'm kinda busy. Kinda busy.

You must be mistaken. I said that couldn't be for me. Not me.

It is the patriotic thing, I suppose. It might be fun, who knows. Who knows.

Wonder if I could call in sick or try to get a doctor's excuse. Excuse.

Friday morning here I go. Driving 30 minutes or so. 30 minutes or so.
