Sam Adams
When he turned 90
Had a dream.

He saw the grim reaper
Who told him
His time was coming.

And sent him home
So he could celebrate
His 90th birthday
And his 65th wedding anniversary.

But the grim reaper
Would take him
The day after the party.

He went home
Told his wife
And wrote up a storm.

He penned his epitaph
She promised to put
In on his tombstone.

The text read

“Sam Adams met
And married his dream lady
Maria Lee.
And will see her
in his next life.”

His last words were

“see you in my next life”
And he did.
