a coronet, a crown
delicate baby’s breath and the palest of pink peonies
The pink matches the blush in your cheeks
the first time we kissed
with the promise
of forever

A ring of flowers
a symbol, a wish
the tiniest of wildflowers
white with a yellow center
will you be mine
forever?

A ring of flowers
a lei, a welcome
waxy plumeria for endurance
vibrant orchids an ode to your beauty
I breathe deeply
in our forever

A ring of flowers
a wreath, a tribute
sadness hangs heavy in the air
roses, white
lilies too
you will always be
my forever
