Not all families are related by blood.
Some have years of splashing in their lineage
Styrofoam noodles in their DNA and deep ends
Ancestry jumping from the diving boards
And Marco throwing beach balls to Polo,
Both friends since second grade, now forty.
In-laws and best friends, neighbors and former
colleagues
And family too, though
Not all families are related by blood.
